This stuff about Ogden's will? It's better than listening to a show on the wireless. The drama of it all. I personally think old Ogden is cracking up to himself watching all this. Why else would you leave somebody nothing but a fork? It's just grand entertainment, relatives who probably never even wrote the guy a Christmas card are whinging that they were a beloved member of his family and obviously something is not right. I say, if you couldn't bother to put in a fucking visit to him now and again you deserve all you get. And that 'they doctored the will' bit. As if the Ministry wouldn't have looked it over and caught something like that. Keep hoping, Freeman.

Surely I'm not the only one that finds keeping track of this journal a little tricky at times. A few Prophets and loads of post pile up on top of it and the next thing I know weeks have passed before I even think about it.

I guess I can thank Merlin that Francis seems to have come out of his slump for good. I woke up this morning and the flat was immaculate again. I even hid a few things around the flat, folded mismatched socks together and I could barely finish before he was righting everything. Feels good to have him back.

He also seemed insistent about this journal because he's been dropping it in front of me all day. He takes care of me though so I shouldn't begrudge him this. So here I am, doing this before the gym. And merlin if it isn't boring.

What do you do when you have a depressed poltergeist? I assume he's depressed. He used to take such joy, I think, in folding my laundry and polishing every last surface and now...there's actual dust starting to accumulate. I even left a glass out on the table this morning and when I got back from the gym it was still there. That is not normal behaviour. Usually I have to fight him off so he doesn't take the bloody glass from me before I'm even done. Isn't that a sign of depression or something like it? Lack of interest in your usual activities? Or maybe he's just lethargic, which I think is another sign. I don't even know if poltergeist's can get depressed! If he doesn't get over this soon though I might have to get a house elf. Someone is going to have to mop soon.

Can't there be a law or something against people too bloody stupid for their own good? FANS of Greyback. What sane person doesn't see something horribly wrong in that statement? And all those groups running around breaking the statute without a second thought for repercussions. You want to support assimilation go right on ahead but don't be a moron about it. Lot of good an assimilated society would do when you are locked away for breaking a law you thought was silly. Idiots

At least there is some intelligence in the news, tightened security at Azkaban. Late to the game but a smart move regardless.

Oh, just a heads up Kirley! Slight infestation of doxies in my flat so I'll be staying with you for the next two weeks! Knew you wouldn't mind! I'll go on ahead and bring my stuff over.

Yes. The world went wonky for twenty four hours. Big deal! Circadian rhythm out of wack? It's a bloody mask. Put it on. Go to sleep. Problem solved. At least mine was. Slept like a baby. Got up did what I had to and went back to sleep with no problems. Don't see the big deal.

Tonks, last night was brilliant, we must do it again. Wags, WHO I DIDN'T HANG OUT WITH DON'T WORRY KIRLEY, I had fun seeing you again as well. Best night I've had for awhile. Longest night I've had for awhile at least.

I've found there is a fantastic sort of zen type thing in scattering things around my room and watching them all zoom back into place. But it's only entertaining for so long.

I want dinner. Any one else up for it?

New address, new home, exciting start to the week I'd say. I'd heard such exciting things about this street that I couldn't resist taking a flat here. Also the lease was up on that dime a dozen condo I was in so now was as fine a time as any.

The place has a nice feel to it, I have to admit. And moving in was easier than any other time I've moved. My flat has a poltergeist who is neater than any house elf I could have brought in. I unpacked about half my belongings when he picked up on where I was going to put everything and just bloody took over! It was fantastic! Kicked back, made some tea and let him do the heavy work.

After awhile I felt bad and tried to help but...I got the distinct feeling that I was actually getting in his (yes, I've decided it is a he) way! So I went back to my tea.

I think I'm going to like this place.
